“Liz Taylor and Richard Burton’s retreat in the 1960s.”
We are in one of the most beloved, exclusive and renowned areas of the entire Silver Coast. Often when one thinks of Monte Argentario, the association with Cala Piccola is simply automatic, so famous is the location.
Cala Piccola is synonymous with breathtaking sunsets, with warm colors ranging from pink to red, orange tones to yellow and reflecting on the crystal clear waters of the sea. Cala Piccola means clean water where you can go diving or snorkeling or more simply where you can swim with the feeling of being in a saltwater pool.
This is a decidedly charming cove although it is one of the smallest on the promontory. It was originally called Cala dei Piatti, a name later taken over by one of the two consortia ( Cala Piatti and Cala Piccola ) that occupy its access to the sea with exclusive platforms making the best use of the geographic conformation of the beach, which is almost completely made of rocks.
Public access to the beautiful waters of Cala Piccola is exclusively by sea, while the beach is for the use of consortium members and those who own homes within the district.
In Cala Piccola, about 100 meters from the sea, we find the famous, eponymous Hotel, which originates from the presence of the Saracen tower built by the Pisans in the 15th century called precisely the Tower of Cala Piccola and from which the Hotel takes its name.
The consortium is developed all around the cove and is home to some of the most beautiful properties in Italy. Stunning apartments, portions or prestigious and luxurious independent villas located on the green hills of the promontory that give those who live them an unforgettable and unique view towards the Island of Giglio.
Our portfolio boasts a wide variety of properties located within the consortium:
Coldwell Banker Global Luxury: the prestige villas.
Detached cottages, apartments, portions of villas.
