On the eastern side of Monte Argentario we find the Spiaggia Lunga, a cove dominated by the splendid Forte Stella, a short distance from Porto Ercole

Reaching this beach is not easy, it is in fact a journey of about 20 minutes, sometimes particularly steep, but the effort is rewarded with a large public beach (with the possibility to rent umbrellas and sunbeds) and of course, the clear sea of Argentario. In fact, we find crystal clear water and perfect conditions for a beautiful day at the beach. The beach is mostly sandy, a rarity in our promontory characterized by rocks, although to get into the water we find pebbles.

For those who do not want to face the impervious path that leads to the cove (you have all our understanding), what we recommend is to rely on a boat rental service that will allow you to reach this corner of Monte Argentario in total comfort.
